Isolated from the noise of the city and located where the rainforest of the Corcovado National Park and the dreamy landscape of the Pacific coast meet, the Iseami House invites you to enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable vacations.
Standing out thanks to a series of peculiarities that makes the house environmentally friendly, the Iseami House was designed to provide a balanced atmosphere between the services and amenities of modern residences and the seductive passivity of nature.

The Iseami house is located in Carate, a few hundred meters away from a landing field that provides an unbeatable access, only two hours away by car from Puerto Jimenez, the largest populated area in the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.

The house has two floors, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, suitable for three couples to sleep comfortably. One room has two double beds and the other has a “queen” bed. Children can sleep in bunk beds.

On the balcony, there is a dining table with seating for twelve people. And on the ground floor, there is a deck and a pool, plus a dining area for eight people, next to a gas barbecue. In this wide area of the first floor you can also enjoy of ping pong and massage tables or practice meditation and yoga, facing the wonderful landscape of the coast.

In addition, the house is fully equipped with a kitchen that includes a 4 burners gas stove, gas oven, refrigerator, TV and DVD.

Like other houses in the Osa Peninsula, the Iseami House is powered mainly on solar energy, a renewable source that contributes to the universal efforts to reduce global warming.

It has solar panels that provide 10,800 KWh and a low impact Pelton generator powered by the water coming from the mountain, with capacity to generate another 800 KWh.

In this natural treasure, the Iseami House was also designed to maximize the use of daylight, so the visitors will not encounter any intense light bulbs or fluorescent lights. Candles and flashlights are often used.
Lights, fans and other small appliances should be turned off in order to not to waste energy. Hence, the owners call for the visitors to refrain from bringing electrical appliances but the essentials, such as battery chargers for video and photo cameras.
